Over the 3+ years of design/construction efforts, John's primary role was construction oversight and support, although he also played a key role in resolving design challenges as they arose in the field during construction.
John was a pleasure to work with and we immediately developed an appreciation for each other that continues to this day. Even though my involvement at the St Kitts Marriott Resort ended in 2004, simply due to transitioning from design/ construction to operations, we have remained in contact over the years.

In particular, our relationship with JMC has been through the development and construction of numerous Shoppers Drug Mart facilities, with the majority being through a tender process and then stipulated price contracts. In each case JMC was able to accurately interpret all consultants' documents and quickly recognise any coordination conflicts and then resolve them in the field with minimum impact to budget or schedule. Their projects have consistently been professionally run and clean from beginning to end with minimal deficiencies, which were properly corrected, or end user complaints.
